Suggest Remedies For Severe Cramps In The Feet, Ankles And Legs

Hi I suffer really badly from cramp in my feet, ankles and legs. It is extremely painful. The mucles bulge and lock in my legs and my toes seperate and turn up. It can last for around 10 minutes. Sometimes more. I have tried standing on tip toes pushing heals slowly to the floor, rubbing etc but nothing seems to work. Can you please advice me the best way to stop it. Thank you XXXX

Hi,

Severe cramps that of which is severe enough to interfere with your daily routines is not countable to be normal at all. There can be underlying diabetes, trace elements deficiency as zinc, selenium, magnesium or else. Kindly get a basic evaluation with your doc for primary guidelines to get checking of blood and possible causative agents rather than pressing the pain with mere analgesic tablets.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
