Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello dear,
welcome to HCM.
I have read your query and understood your concern.

For tinea infection, terbinafine is a good choice of drug but need to be continued for appropriate duration for complete treatment. It should not be stopped before 2-4 weeks of completion of treatment. Alongwith topical antifungals like sertraconazole/miconazole/clotrimazole are advisable to apply over the lesions.

Keep the area clean and dry.
I hope it helps.
Good luck.
