Hello. I am 19 years old and have been smoking for about 6 months (1 pack a week). For the past week, I have had a minor sore throat, with a swollen lymph node under the right side of my jaw. Yesterday, only the right side of my throat hurt, this time much worse than before. I have been draining from my nose somewhat, and last week it felt like a nasal-drip was going down my throat. I am also experiencing slight ear pain, only on my right side. There is a little pain when swallowing food. My throat looks irritated in the mirror, and there seems to be a small white spot on my LEFT tonsil. This spot only appeared last night, after the throat pain moved to my right side. Please help! I tried getting in to see my doctor today, but he was booked.
