Suggest Remedies For Sores And Bruising On My Penis
i have a sore on my penis that i believe resulted from masturbating too hard. a day after the incident i noticed a spot on the top of my penis. the following day a bruise started to form around the foreskin area of my penis (i am circumsized). The bruise spread the circumference of my penis and now my entire tip of my penis is red, shiny and wet and looks like rug burn. The wound is trying to heal and you can see skin trying to heal, but it is fragile. I have been keeping it lightly wrapped in gauze and covered in vaseline and that seems to be helping, but slowly. It hurts if it comes into contact with clothing but otherwise it doesn t hurt; i keep it wrapped because if it starts to dry out in contact with fabric the new skin attaches to the boxer. Is there anything I can do to make it heal faster?

Sores and bruising on your penis is commonly due to STIs or skin conditions like psoriasis. Psoriasis is treated with cool compress, keep it moist with moisturizing water-based lotion to help better healing. You can apply triple antibiotic ointment containing bacitracin, neomycin and polymyxin B to help faster healing and to prevent infection.
Treatment with UV light is also helpful. If it is resistant, you may need to take a course of oral antibiotics like Augmentin. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP / urologist to detect STIs. STD infection also causes such symptoms. Get tested for STIs. In case the tests come positive you will be treated with antibiotics and antivirals. Avoid any kind of sexual activity at present.
