Suggest Remedies For Swelling And Redness Of Skin Around My Eyes
I have been having trouble with the skin around my eyes. Specifically the skin directly under my eyebrow and the skin just under my lower tear duct. The skin under my eyebrows swell, go very red, become itchy and sore to touch, flaky and dry. The skin under my eye and also in patches over my face go very red, become itchy, dry, flaky and sore and this happens mostly after I go to bed. I have been using Chlorsig cream when I go to bed which mostly helps but some mornings I wake up and it is worse even with using the cream. How can I stop this?

hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
the areas you have mentioned are very specific for a condition known as seborrheic dermatitis.its an extremely common condition. most of the patients also have associated dandruff. it's a chronic condition and it keeps recurring inspite of treatment. what you need to understand that it's a type of eczema. it's your body's tendency to develop seborrheic dermatitis. so you need to treat it evetytime it recurrs.
if you were to walk into my clinic I would prescribe a ketoconzole based shampoo if you also have dandruff or itchy scalp. for your face I would prescribe a cream containing both clotrimazole and beclomethasone. also tab cetrizine for itching.
