Hi,

What is the drug is he taking? antihypertensive drugs like calcium channel blockers may cause this pedal oedema Please mention what drug she is on?

Oedema also may be due to cardiac failure or renal failure or liver problems or hypoproteinemia etc. Chronic bedridden patients may develop dependent oedema.

Please consult your doctor he will examine for the cause and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
