Hello there.
You are suffering from tonsilitis and the white plaques over tonsils show secondary bacterial or fungal infection.Bacterial can be due to streptococcus and fungal can be due to candida.I will suggest that you should visit aa doctor and do the culture of organism or whatever doctor suggest on your visit.Till then you should take liquid diet, not spicy n very hot.You can also use mouth wash.
Also you mentioned that you are asthematic and if you are taking inhalational steroids then it is possible to get fungaal infection. To prevent it in future do mouth wash and gargles every time after taking inhalational steroids..
Thank you...
