Hi, How much weight should I lose if I m a 16 year old girl who weighs 190 lbs and is 5 11 ? I m usually pretty active during the year because I m on my school s crew team but over the summer I haven t been exercising as much and I lost about six pounds this month of muscle mass which I m starting to regain as fat. How should I avoid gaining back more and go about losing some/how much do I need to lose?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.
Your maximum acceptable weight is 81kg which gives you a BMI of 25kg/m2. You would need to loss at least 5kg to get to the desired goal. Regular exercise and decreased amount of calorie intake are the best ways to address gaining more weight.
I hope this addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
