dear doctors, My daughter who is 13 is alergic to lactose, and so skinny who ever see's thinks shes sick, she on some days she eats more than an average person on on the other days the barley eats anything. i give her vitamins but shes still skinny and weak. Is there anything i can do?
as long as as shes healthy and fit enough to do her school and day to day home activities..u need nt worry..only thing u hv to concentrate is about her diet..
make her to eat only homemade food, and dont ever force her to eat any food she doesnt like..variety is v.important
if she is a nonvegetarian, make her eat an egg atleast thrice a wk..
protein rich food like sprouted dhal can be included in regular diet,dry fruits,fruits,vegs
ghee can be added to all d food prepared...if ghee is nt edibl fr her add mct oil to food (1tsp)
