Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... Hi, age 59, man, I had infections in urinary tract AND PROSTATA enlargements problmes - had treatment with Zanocin 200. Now I have it again .Should treatment with Zanocin be longer ( exceeding 7 days) or should anything else be taken?

Hi,
As there is 7 days duration of Zanocin intake, now it will not support further as the organism may be drug resistant. My recommendations
- antibiotic according to the urine culture report
- urinary alkalizer if not contraindicated
- anti-inflammatory drugs
- control of blood sugar and prostate symptoms with alpha blockers
