Welcome to health care magic.

1.The possible cause will be hair follicular infection with pus collection with in.
2.Which needs antibiotic treatment - but in larger size there will not be much effect.
3.In this case for confirmation an ultrasound will help to evaluate the nature of the lump, its source and extensions.
4.An incision and drainage with antibiotic course will help. Good post procedural care plays important role in recurrence and healing process.
5.Do not disturb the area , stop shaving for some time, use trimmer instead for a while until it heels, do not press, scratch. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
