hello
welcome to HCM
i have read your question and i can understand your concerns

what is your age
do you have constipation
what was the last time you defecated.
is the pain more severe when you are empty stomach or it is severe when you eat.
what is the exact area of pain and does it radiate.
any blood in stool..??

if i were your treating physician i would have examined you to look for any tenderness in the abdomen or rigidity to rule out peritonitis which is an emergency.
in your case i would have done H pylori test and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy to rule out ulcer or gastritis or any other pathology.i would also have done xray erect abdomen to look for gas under diaphragm.for peptic ulcer i would have prescribed antibiotics such as clarithromycin 500mg,amoxicillin 500mg,metronidazole 400mg and proton pump inhibitor such as lansoprazole 30mg or esomeprazole 40mg for 14 days.
i would also have done serum lipase and amylase to rule out pancreatits.
i would have done ultrasonogram abdomen to look for gall bladder stones and kidney stones.pancreatitis or any perforation warrants hospital admission.stones may need surgery or can be trialed with medications ie tab ursodeoxycholic 250 mg for medical resolution of gallbladder stones.

i would suggest you to meet a general surgeon for a second opinion and for drugs which you can get on prescription.

thanks.
hope the answer is helpful
