Suggest Remedy For Accidental Contact Of Vicks Vaporub In Eye
Last night I rubbed some Vicks vaporub onto my daughter s back, under her nighties. (She is 7 and has been battling with a bad cough) I suspect she somehow touched some and got it into her one eye because she complained her eye was very sore. I put my contact lense solution in her eye and she seemed ok and fell asleep. Today at midday she started complaining of the eye again and my husband took her to the doctor, who gave her eyedrops. Tonight she was again complaining. How serious can it be if she did indeed get Vicks in her eyes? I suspect it must have been a tiny amount as I never saw it.
