Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Acne in PCOS is mostly due to over production of androgens. This can be treated by oral contraceptive pills which will gives a suppression for androgen production. Anti androgens like spironolactone or finasteride will be helpful also but should be used judiciously. Insulin sensitizing drugs like metformin or thiazolidinediones like pioglitazone is also good for this. Natural anti androgens like soy palmetto can be used in low dose also. A consultation with a dermatologist is well appreciated.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
