Hello there, What you are describing is the symptom that suggest that a tube that connects your middle ear to throat is getting blocked intermittently. This tube is known as the eustachian tube and gets blocked due to various reasons. Try to blow your nose while you hold your nose closed by your fingers and keep your mouth closed. This is called the Valsalva manouvre. It may help to open the tube. You may alternately try to swallow vigorously or yawn. These actions also help to open the eustachian tube. Sometimes mild throat infection or middle ear infection can block the tube. So try this exercise for 4-5 times a day for two days. If you still feel the same, visit your ENT doctor who can guide you through any treatment if required. Also take steam inhalations during these 2 days as it may reduce your symptoms. Hope this helps. Take care.
