Suggest Remedy For Anal Bleeding Caused By Gastrointestinal Virus Infection

I have a gastrointestinal virus - been about 2 days now. I took some medicine like Kaopectate, and it got better. However, how my bottom is blooding - it s just right there at the surface area, not coming from the colon. Can I buy something at the pharmacy that will relieve that. I am concerned about it making a painful scab there. Thanks.

Hi thanks for asking question.
You are already diagnosed gastric viral infection. But still do your stool examination also it might reveal pus cell suggest bacteria and parasitic eggs or trophozoites and treated accordingly.

Meanwhile drink more water and fruit juices.

Avoid smoking and spicy food.

Take small meal at frequent interval for few days.

Green leafy veg useful.

For few days Avoid excess fatty and fried food.

You also just check your anal area by proctoscopy becoz such surface bleeding as you mentioned can occur from piles they are treated accordingly.

If still symptoms increasing USG or colonoscopy needed.

Wish you good health.
