hi i am taking flucloxacillin its my second day my skin feels better all ready i havent got serious ance or anything to bad its just where i shave i tend to get spots and red marks i was wondering when i finsh these tabs and if everything has cleared will they come back. my doctor said my skin was infected from shaving
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of acne with redness and marks which occurs either due to allergic reaction or bacteria get trapped inside the pore, too, causing the area to become red and swollen. You need not to worry. I Would suggest you to :-
Apply benzoyl peroxide cream or gel for killing the bacteria in the pore .
Drink plenty of fluids.
Exfoliate gently once or twice a day with a salicylic acid-based exfoliant .
Wash your face using a mild soap or cleanser and lukewarm water .
Avoid greasy creams ,use water based products.
If condition doesn't improve in a week then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis.
