Suggest Remedy For Anger, Mood Swings And Irrational Behaviour After Being On Prozac And Marijuana For Long

Hi - my 38 year old son has recently started taking Prozac and has also smoked marijuana for a very long time. He has recently become angry, irrational and unpleasant. He has recently lost his job and his pregnant partner has asked him to leave because of his anger. He says he has discussed the interaction with his Doctor and psychologist and they say it is fine!! We are not so sure!! Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is understandable to be concerned.

You may want to speak to his doctor about his behaviour. Sometimes when a person is ill, the doctor require input from family members and friends to obtain a true picture of how the individual is doing.
The doctor may not be able to disclose information to you but you can tell him or her you concerns.

I hope this helps
