Last month I went to the doctor b/c of vaginal discharge and adominal pain and was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. I took Flagyl for 1 week and was experiencing more vaginal discomfort and swelling. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a yeast infection and took Fluconazole and I am still experiencing vaginal swelling. What problem could this indicate?
Hi, From history it seems that there might be having super added bacterial infection along with yeast infection. Go for vaginal swab test to confirm type of infection. You might require one course of antibiotic medicine course for 5 days along with metrogyl. Keep local hygiene clean and healthy. Clean local part with running water while taking shower. Ok and take care.
