Suggest Remedy For Bad Breath With Lumps During Tonsilitis

Hi i had a tonsillectomy with 2 emergency post bleeds with clotting,I was rushed back down to theatre and they courtarised more of my throat away due to another infection.Since then i have recovered but not fully.I have had tonsillitis since been on 2 lots of antibiotics and now i have red lumps at the back and terrible mucus getting stuck at the back of my airway.My husband as said my breath smells really bad.This is a major concern to me as i darnt go near anyone now.can you help?

hello,thanks for your query, halitosis(fowl breath) could be due to oral cavity lesions like gum ,tooth infections, tongue, cheek ulcers,pahryngitis, gastritis, gastoenteritis. i feel, in youe case . its due to chronic tonsillitis.go ahead for tonsillectomy for permanent cure.mean time you can try salt water gargling and hydrogen peroxide gargling for tonsillitis and ent surgeon consultation for antibiotics..hope i ansered your query. all the bes. take care.
