I had my Foley catheter removed today, six days after a robotic radical prostatectomy. Three hours later a produced a small volume of urine. How much urine should I produce to be sure the bladder is voiding normally? I was told that in 5% of cases, a catheter reinsertion is necessary. How much urine is required as proof that the bladder is working?
