Suggest Remedy For Bleeding After Anal Skin Tags Removal Surgery

Hi, I had 2 anal skin tags removed on Tuesday this week. Whilst the pain ain t that bad I am still bleeding a little, especailly after a BM and using a sanitary towel. I was told it would be a bit stingy for a couple of days and them I d be ok but didn t realise it would be an open wound. Can u give me any tips to help me heal quicker. I m using Ibruprofen and paracetamol and lactulose but been told not to bath until Monday. I need to know also when I ll be able to go back to work. Thank you

Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
Your line of treatment seems to all right.
You have not mentioned about wound treatment.Bitadine and metronidazole ointment works very fast on these wounds.
A bath may cause infection.
It may take you another week or so before you can go to work.
Good luck.
