Hello and welcome to HCM
You seem to be suffering from an insect bite reaction with resulting allergies. Though the bites may be old the reaction in your skin could still cause a spread of new rashes.
Ant bites generally would lead to itching, burning and pain, with underlying swelling. The swelling turns hard and then fades away with time, similar to any other
injury or bump.
Continuous scratching or itching could lead to infection of the bumps and rashes as well.
Firstly, don't use any harsh soaps or chemicals or hot water till the rashes subside. Apply a
calamine and
aloe vera lotion all over the rashes. It will help the irritation and also help heal them faster. You can do this 2-3 times a day.
Take an antihistamine like
benadryl once a day for a few days till the rashes heal and no new allergy shows up. On the swollen , larger painful bumps and blisters, you may need to apply a steroid-antibiotic cream for 5-7 days, like Fucibet.
The lesions will heal and may leave a few scabs or scars which should fade away.
Hope this helps you. If you develop new rashes inspite of treatment , or develop symptoms like
fever or swollen glands, do
consult a dermatologist regarding follow up and also to check the improvement.
If any
allergy tests are required they will advise you the same.
