Suggest Remedy For Blisters Inside Lips After Chewing Tobacco
Doctor i got something to ask you ok i been useing chewing tobacco for sometime to stop smoking ciggs weeks later i notic on my eft lip on the insides of it a large blister but it doesnt hurt or anything . i am wondering what is this and should i head to a doctor to have it checked out cuz i showed my friend that and he said it could be from the chewing tobacco and if i stop useing chewing tobacco that bump will just go away . i want to know will it go away ?? i am little bit scared right now and what do you suggest to get ride of it ?
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The large blister over the lip could be a mucocele secondary to lip biting. Consult a oral physician and get it ruled out. If it is a mucocele you can get it surgically removed under local anesthesia. The other possible cause of blister could be secondary to the use of tobacco that is in initial stages of oral submucous fibrosis.
