Suggest Remedy For Blisters On Lips And Hands Caused By Vitiligo

Hi doctor, I am sufferring from vitiligo since 2006 ( when i was 15 yrs old), i had blister grafting on my lower lips, but now it looks dark patches on scattering. not completely cover my lips. I have vitilgo on palms and feet also, what is the best treatment for curing my lips, palms and feet. I stopped treatment after blister grafting which was done on 2008

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of blisters on lips and hands caused by vitiligo which is a condition in which the melanin producing cell melanocyte dies due to certain factors which produce white patches. I would suggest you to protect your skin from sun by applying sunscreen with SPF 50. Soak psoralea seeds in ginger juice for three days. After three days rub them to remove there out covering. Apply turmeric powder mix with honey for 15 minutes daily. Consult dermatologist for proper evaluation. Doctor may prescribe topical corticosteroids , vitamin D supplement, ginkgo biloba or drugs to suppress immune system. Doctor may also recommend light therapy and PUVA light therapy .
