Suggest Remedy For Blood In Stool
Had an appendectomy two days ago. Now have blood in stool and frank blood upon wiping. Hx of ulcerative colitis which is in remission for 1 year. Three months post-partum. Some bloating is still occuring. this typical for this type of surgery or is this another ER visit?

It may be due to hemorrhoid due to surgery cause constipation lead to the application of more pressure during defecation lead to blood in the stool. Also possible of a flare-up of inflammatory bowel disease with bleeding. Other possibilities like a fissure in the anus or dysentery etcetera. Please consult your treating doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
