Suggest Remedy For Boil Inside Eyelid With Little Pain

I am a 46 years oid woman , i had a very small boil on the rim of my left lower eyelid which after 2 weeks healed itself. Now I had a slightly swollen right upper eyelid ,may be a small boil inside which I can feel when I touch it on the outside. no itching,no watering,little pain when touched. i do a lot of work on computes.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that a slight swelling over the upper eyelid along with tenderness seems to be either a stye or Chalazion that occurs due to infection in the specialized glands present in the base of eye lids known as Meibomian gland..
Infection and inflammation of the gland can lead to swelling and lump formation..

I would suggest you to do warm compresses over the eyelid..
You can soak a wash cloth in warm water and apply over the eyelid and keep it for some time..
Many a times it gets resolved with it and no medication is needed..
But in case if there is no improvement in a week consult an Ophthalmologist and get evaluated and he can advise you eyedrops containing antibiotics and steroids..
