Hi Doctor, I have been facing the acne problem from past few years. Though it had reduced considerably, there has been a sudden breakout from the past 6 months. I tried to use a few home remedies(Honey and Lemon) but it did not seem to work out. The pimples usually occur on the forehead and cheeks with red zits. I alaso have Back Acne. Can you please suggest any remedy for this. Thanks in advance.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have breaking out acne on face since past 6 months which is mainly due to clogging of skin pores. Stress, hormonal changes are most contributing conditions for this. I would suggest you to avoid intake of oily, greasy and sharp food substances. Drink plenty of water. Wash your skin 2-3 times a day with mild soap and warm water to prevent the accumulation of oil ,dust and bacteria on your skin.Take diet rich in vitamin E. Don't use any cosmetics and hard substances on face. Apply vitamin E oil at night. Apply clindamycin gel on face. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and go for micro-peeling and dermabrasion. You can apply aloe vera gel on them as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
