Suggest Remedy For Burning And Painful Sensation In Thigh

I work as a cashier. After standing for about a hour and a half I start experiencing a burning and painful sensation in my left thigh. This is followed by the thigh area going numb. It usually goes away after I sit for awhile, but lately it has been getting worse.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you may be having lumbar spondylitis as you got tingling and numbness in thigh after sometimes of standing.Second possibility is meralgia paraesthetica which is due to compression of femoral nerve at inguinal ligament. Treatment of it is analgesic for pain relief. Mecobalamin gives relief in tingling and numbness. Wearing loose clothing may help in meralgia paraesthetica. For investigation of lumbar spondylitis x ray lumbar spine and MRI of lumbar spine is helpful. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
