Suggest Remedy For Burning And Stinging Pain In Feet After A Scrub
After the pedicurist scrubbed my feet so hard, I had stinging, burning pain for about 5 weeks. I used econazole nitrate for 4 weeks. It seems like the medication was helping the irritation at the beginning of treatment but I think it also made my feet sensitive that I can hardly wear shoes on. Burning sensation is gone ,but my feet are so sensitive I wake up many times at night. I like to walk normally soon. Please help.
I can understand your concern for the burning and stinging pain in feet after the scrub. It is quite common that if scrub is done by vigorous efforts then one can get injury to the superficial layers of the skin. I suggest you to not to do scrub in future with this kind of effort. In your kind of cases it is better to apply a mild steroid such as hydrocortisone and to take an antihistamine with a pain killer. Take rest of 1-2 days so that the irritation part can get subsided. DO not try to rub the area as can get further aggravated.
All the best.
