Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I have studied your case and I think that you might be having either neurogenic claudication or vascular claudication. I would recommend you to get MRI of the spine and serum B 12 estimation to find out if you are having neurological compression. If it is proven that you are having nerve compression then you have to get treatment for it. May be a spinal surgery.
If there is B 12 deficiency then you should get methylcobalamine injection daily for 10 days followed by oral tablets.
Vascular claudication is common in smoker and it can be confirmed by Doppler test. it needs to be corrected by surgery.
