Suggest Remedy For Burning Sensation In Throat After Having Zoloft
I took half a zoloft this afternoon and drank a little bit of water. i hopped in the car to run get my kids from school and didn t have water with me. my throat started burning then and got worse and worse. i didn t have anything to drink for 20 minutes. now i am chugging ice water and my throat is still burning. it is very painful. i think i have a chemical burn in my throat. is there anything that will ease this pain?
Hi Throat pain after taking a drug is common due to irritation of the throat mucous membrane. This could most likely be the reason for the pains you feel after taking Zoloft. You may take a pain medication like ibuprofen, drink water frequently and observe. The pain will go away.If it persist, you can then get your throat examined by the Doctor to rule out other causes of throat pain. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
