Suggest Remedy For Catarrh With Cough

I have had heavy cataarh for 2 or 3 months accompanied by a spamodic cough. If I press a finger under my right jaw I can usually control the coughing. I have long suffered from cataarh and I'm looking for some alleviation of my proness to cataarh and something to control the coughing .

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you are having upper respiratory tract problem for your symptoms. Still its better to rule out lung problem by chest x ray and pulmonary function test (PFT). Since you are saying that by pressure your symptoms are decreased there must be something in that area which irritates your throat and produce coughing. So better to consult ENT surgeon for this.
