Yesterday I was spraying Lysol spray overhead and must have inhaled it without realizing it. I noticed later in the day that I felt a watery feeling in my chest and it s continued and gotten worse today. I also have a sort of achy feeling in my upper chest around my collar bones, and am coughing up liquid. I ve had bronchitis before and it s kind of like that but I also had chemical pneumonia once from workers using chemicals in my workplace. No fever yet, but am a little worried.
thanks for asking your query I completely understood your question yes Lysol spray can cause chemical pneumonitis but that is confirmed by chest xray.without confirming the diagnosis treatment should not be given.so better u get a chest xray or consult a pulmonologist. treatment for chemical pneumonitis is a short course of steroids .
