Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I keep having alot of diarrhea and I am over 60 years old; it seems as though everything i eat gives me this problem; I have alot of stress also no job searching for employment. possible nerves? I recently got over stomach flu and have had my yearly flu shots. Thanks.
Hello, If you have had your gallbladder out then talk to your doctor about trying a medication to stop the diarrhea. Often people without a gallbladder will have frequent loose stools. If that is not the case then try looking at your diet and stress levels. Stress can definitely cause loose stools. Try getting rid of all dairy for a while and if that does not work try eliminating gluten (harder). Also it may be helpful to add a daily probiotic. Regards
