Suggest Remedy For Constant Headaches
My dad has had a headache off and on know for 17 weeks. He has had his eyes checked 2 times and they are fine. He has had his ears checked- they are fine. His head CT and MRI of head are both clear. He has quit drinking products with aspertame thinking that was causing headaches, but that only helped for a few days. He has been on Neurontin but that did not help. He is now on topamax 25 mg bid. In the last week or so, he has been complaining of a constant fizzing in his head. Any ideas????

This could be migraine. Topamax is used is prophylaxis of migraine. He should continue with it. If there is severe pain, he can take Ibuprofen for immediate relief.
