Suggest Remedy For Constant Loose Motions

Last about 10 days back my baby had vacination & optional vacination called prevenar (cost 3801), on the same my wife gave Sapota juice to the kid & later on it started loose motion. Even today it is going 4-5 time a day, when will it stop. Doctor has given spolac & some tablet to the kid but nothing is working. All other movements are fine with baby. Kindly suggest.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

4-5 stools / day is not a cause of concern in young infants. If no fever, stool is not bloody and baby is active, nothing to worry. Just complete Sporlac for 5 days. Avoid giving fruits, juices or sugars until recovery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
