Hello, Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) may not cause back pain. Probably you are suffering from a back muscle spasm or renal calculi or lumbar spondylosis etcetera. You need to be evaluated by x-ray LS spine, ultrasound abdomen, blood urea, and creating levels. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Use tablet Normaxin twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor gastroenterologist, he will examine and treat you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
