Suggest Remedy For Constant Sleep While On Effexor, Seroquel And Oxycodone
Hi my husband is taking Effexor 112.5 mg a day and 50mg of Seroquel. He was release from a rehab about a week ago for severe depression, anxiety and majuanna use. He can barely stay awake for 4 hours at a time, oh plus he is taking oxycodone 30 for pain in his neck and back, which he has herniated discs? Help. Karen
In my opinion, options for your husband are: 1- Avoid use of oxycodone, and use non-morphinic painkillers and bed rest for herniated discs.
2- Tapering doses of Effexor or Seroquel, or both of them, but at first consult with his psychiatrist for this action. He should evaluate his mood actually and the need for change in therapy.
Take Care!
