Suggest Remedy For Cough With Breathing Difficulty

10 month granddaughter has a croup like cough and is having a difficult time breathing normal. Nose is stopped and she is breathing through her mouth. I put a humidifier in her room. She has no fever but sounds like a seal when she coughs. Is there anything you can help with?

HI

Welcome to HCM

See she is having cough since 10 months . It means that she could be having Chronic infections , TB , allergic etc which requires a through evaluation .

I advise you to get a Chest X ray PA view and also Sputum Culture sensitivity test . If she is still having breathing difficulty then its better you take her to hospital now as there is a chance of deterioration .
For the time she can take Syrup Tus Q-X 10ml 3 times a day .
