Hi Sir...from last 1-2 year i am having some problems with dandruff even though i try to take shower with cold water and try to avoid warm water for head atleast..i have been trying few dandruff removal shampoo but things are not working..i won t get any medicines here without doctor s prescription as i am outside india and i am sure docotrs will not give medicines here quickly as they normally avoid such small things... i normally colour my hair once in 2 months due to some grey hair and i have changed the hair colour recently and i am thinking it might be due to that. earlier i used to use Loreal but now started using a covenient option of Godrej Gel based..i s there any homemade medicine...which i can use
Hi. As per your case history of dandruff, my treatment advice is - 1. Stop applying hair oil for at least 30 days. 2. Apply an antifungal plus steroid lotion like candid-b once at night. 3. Use a ketoconazole shampoo every alternative day. 4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
