Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dark skin color which is because skin complexion become dark when melanocyte cells ( cells which produce skin pigment melanin) start producing excess pigment . This production is triggered by many factors like excessive sun exposure and chemical in water like chlorine and other salt. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to try to bath with cold water and soft soap , apply Kojic acid cream twice a day after bath and apply aloe vera gel at night before going to bed. If it is burning you should discontinue medication. Also start taking vitamin E supplement for health skin texture and color complexion . If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist . Doctor may prescribe steroid ointment or retinoids .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
