I ve had a dark ring at the bottom of my lip for 4 years now. I don t lick my lips anymore ever since I got it and I ve been using Vaseline for the past 4 years and only the middle part has gone slightly. The corners of my lip are darker than the rest. What should I do?
There are various modalities but the result is not that great.
However you can give a trial.
Use a mild depigmenting agent like melaglow in night. In morning you can apply a mild steroid like mometasone cream. Later in the day use lip balms, containing sunscreen.
Peels are also a good option.
You can go for milder peels like lactic acid, once a month.
Also take an antioxidant capsule daily.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
