Hello,

There are so many causes other than pregnancy which may cause delayed menses.

The most common causes at your age is due to hormonal imbalance, stress, anxiety, PCOD, thyroid disorder, anaemia, diet changes, exercise, infection, ovarian cyst, birth control pills and infection.

So as you are not having any other symptoms you can wait for one more week and if you will not resume it than consult a Gynecologist and get yourself examined and investigation done to rule out the above mentioned causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
