Suggest Remedy For Delay In Reaching Development Milestone
My son is four years old and his developments is under the normal standards, approximately weighs 11kg and height is under the normal development. He does not like to eat anything. I think he needs some kind of medical attention. But I am not sure whom to approach. I took him to general children specialists, they prescribed normal enzyme tonics or vitamin tonics. I feel that there is something to investigate, based on his gross under development. Please advice me the course of action in my kid underdevelopment.
Thanks for asking on healthcaremagic. I have carefully gone through the details. Difficulty in feeding a child is a problem that most parents face frequently and it is not new in your case. Unfortunately there is no straight formula to help you and simply need to coax your child to eat. Our body is built of protein which is found in chicken, fish, eggs and pulses whereas our energy comes from carbohydrates which are present in rice, roti etc. These are to be taken in bulk to help him grow better. Enroll him for swimming or let him play as activities are essential. Do not ask a doctor for sources of further nutrition as all they can give you are syrups which you mentioned. These are not going to be effective. If you want to get your child assessed, visit a developmental pediatrician or a centre fealing with child development.
Hope that answers your query. Feel free to revert back with further queries if any.
