Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns
I went through your details. Children learn fast. When there is motivation, they learn faster. You are doing well. You are counseling her and motivating her about childhood and friendships. Motivate her with stories of such friendship and fairy tales. She will understand.
Secondly, please do not label it as
depression. This is disappointment. Disappointment also manifests symptoms as in the case of depression. But these symptoms are short lived.
Your child is just 10. She is growing, developing and learning. Every child come across such disappointment and life's little hassles. They have the capacity to overcome such problems. Parents and caregivers are to be available for guidance, motivation and care. You may consult a child
psychologist for counseling if need be.
