dog bite me what to do ? wil it create rabies.. It is small puppie which iis about one month old... it is in the road side . I didnot get any wound or cut in my skin.. there is nothing much with the bite.. just like a ant bite i felt at the moment.. But now , i feel the symptoms like more saliva and my neck and shoulders are paining ,,... please help

welcome to hcm, excessive salivation and stiffness pain in the neck are symptoms of rabies. The initial symptomps may be mild but qiuckly it can become more serious. the incubation period of rabes is 2 -12 weeks the duration decreases when the biten area is close to brain. i want you to have a post exposture prophylaxis for rabies immediately. contact your physician for post exposture prophylaxis for rabies. hope this finds useful with regards Dr.Amarnath
