my husband has used chlorine to clean black molds in shower cubicles repeatedly for four days hoping to completely erase all molds. Since then he has itchy throat n dry cough. i happened to be suffering from upper respiratory infection n difficulty with sputum coughing real hard. my infection is better but despite syrup n losenges bought for dry irritant cough he has taken twice but no improvement.!!can drinking milk or gargle with warm salty water helps? thanks.

Hi, given your description i find the cough to be because of irritation of airway due to chlorine. Steam Inhalation and Gargling shall help. Avoid exposure to chlorine. If cough persists for more than a week, a Chest X ray is advised.
