Suggest Remedy For Dry Patches On Throat

I have what feels like a patch in my throat that is constantly dry, I haven t been able to shift it for 3 days and it s starting to drive me crazy. I ve tried drinking lots of different fluids, lozenges, gargling, everything I could find. I don t otherwise feel sick either.

Hi. I dont think you need to worry about a dry patch in the throat unless it is white and membrany. In which case do see an ENT soon.
Dry patches in the throat can be due to allergies or pharyngeal infections. If they are localised, they not have any other associated symptoms such as pain, difficulty in swallowing or fever.
I would suggest to keep it under observation to see if it is increasing in surface area or changing colour or leading to pain and fever. If that happens, you'll need an ENT evaluation and treatment based on the evaluation. Till then try not to think too much about it. Doesn't sound worrisome.
