Suggest Remedy For Dry Peeling Skin And Soreness On Hands, wrists And Elbow
In the last 3 weeks i have developed dry peeling skin on my hands, wrists and elbows. The skin on the elbows actually hurts in places to peel off and is hard. Over the last two months i have been dealing with major stress and have had tiny pus filled bumps appear on my skin. I ve NEVER seen or had anything like this happen to me before? I ve had chicken pox and was told it may be shingles but have not had any bumps on my back at all......they have remained between neck and knees and not all over. Any ideas? And yes i use lotion but my skin has always been extremely dry.
You seem to have skin peeling syndrome. It may be chronic and relapsing. Many times it is embarrassing to have such problem. Kindly consult dermatologist to have firm diagnosis.
I would suggest..
- mild steroid with antibiotic cream to apply on the affected areas at night - moisturiser cream may be applied on the affected parts after bath in morning - oral steroids in tapering dose for two weeks - antihistaminics if you feel itching - immunomodulators to improve immunity - improve hygiene..take Dettol bath .. Avoid soap bath - keep the skin moist
I hope this would help you.
Thanks.
